Click caps and backup URLs
Limit how many clicks a link sends to your offer and choose where the overflow goes.
Caps on a link
Under Show Advanced Settings:
| Max UCL Clicks | The most unique clicks the link sends to its destination. |
| Max TCL Clicks | The most total clicks. |
Leave a field empty for no limit. Bots and blocked clicks never count towards a cap.
When a cap is reached
Every later visitor goes to the link’s Backup URL. The link stays active, and a click.cap_reached webhook fires once.
Set a Backup URL
If a link has no Backup URL, visitors keep going to the Primary URL after the cap — the cap has nothing to send them to. Always set one when the cap must hold.
Reset Link in the row menu clears the counters and starts the count again.
Caps on rotator URLs
Rotator URLs have richer caps — daily limits, a bonus percentage, and automatic pausing when full. See Rotator URL settings.
