Create your first tracking link

Make a tracking link, send a test click and see it land in your dashboard — in about two minutes.

A tracking link is a short URL on your tracking domain. Every visitor who opens it is recorded — country, device, browser, referrer, quality — and then sent on to your destination. Here is the fastest way to get one working.

Create the link

  1. Open Links and click Add link.

The form opens above your link list. You can also press N anywhere in the dashboard.

  2. Give it a name.

Names are only for you. As you type, the slug in the Tracking Link fills itself in — change it if you want something specific.

  3. Enter the Primary URL.

This is where visitors end up: your offer, landing page or store. Pick https:// or http:// and paste the address.

  4. Click Save Changes.

    The link is live immediately.

Send a test click

In the link list, open the row menu and choose Copy Tracking Link. Paste it into a new browser tab: you should land on your Primary URL.

Back in the dashboard the click appears in the Live feed on the Dashboard within a few seconds, and in the link’s TCL (total clicks) column.

Tip

Opening your own link from a server or with a tool like curl may be flagged by the traffic filters. A normal browser gives the most realistic test.
