IP quality checker
Paste an address to see where it is, who runs the network, and whether it looks like a datacenter, a VPN or a person. No account, no key.
Your address is filled in — press check to see what a tracking link would make of it.
What the score means
80–100
Looks clean
A consumer or mobile network with nothing against it.
40–79
Worth a look
Something is off — a hosting network, or an address we cannot place.
0–39
High risk
A datacenter or proxy exit, or an address already on a blocklist.
Questions
What is an IP quality score?
A number from 0 to 100 that says how likely a visit is to be real. It falls when the address belongs to a hosting network rather than a home or mobile connection, when it looks like a VPN or proxy exit, and when it is on a blocklist. 100 means nothing was found against it.
Why does a datacenter IP matter for ad traffic?
People browse from ISPs and mobile networks. Servers browse from datacenters. A click arriving from AWS, Hetzner or DigitalOcean is almost never somebody who might buy something — it is a crawler, a scraper or a click farm, and you paid for it either way.
Is a VPN always bad traffic?
No. Plenty of real people use a VPN for privacy, and blocking every one of them costs real customers. That is why this is a score rather than a verdict: a VPN exit lowers it without condemning it, and you decide where the line sits for your own campaigns.
Does this check my own traffic?
This page checks one address at a time. Scoring every click as it arrives — with browser and behaviour signals an address alone cannot show — is what a ClickLookup tracking link does, and there is a free trial for it.
Is the checker free?
Yes, and there is no account needed. Lookups are limited to sixty an hour per visitor so the page stays fast for everybody.
